| Charmouth Heli event 6-8Oct 06 That time again, the drive down to sunny Dorset is very familiar after doing Charmouth twice a year for 17 years! This year was vintage, good weather throughout the two main days and some slope action had the M&R team all smiles. Plenty of accidents at the field mainly with the "pretenders" brand failing as they have at all the events I have visited this year...event with my best attempts I couldn't have been as "unlucky" as these pilots. David Nolan travelled all the way from Northern Ireland to strut his stuff accompanied by 'Dad'During the weekend he saw the light and bolted a set of SAB 225's onto his Fury Extreme to discover how much better these blades are than the opposition. These blades were used by several of the 3-D Masters winners and showed the quality by winning the Auto Spot at Charmouth too. Good to see so many friends Dave Wilshere |
