The operation of any model turbine engine requires great care and understanding.

Never operate a Jet Turbine without a suitable C02 Fire Extinguisher.

Graupner JetCat Turbines require Propane/Butane Gas and paraffin/JetA1 fuel. The storage of these highly flammable substances should be carefully considered.

When you prepare to operate the Turbine ensure the area available is suitable-Never operate indoors or under cover.
Keep people or animals away from either end of the turbine during start up and operation-read the recommendations outlined in the manual.

Remove the gas valve top from the propane/butane canister when not in use to avoid accidental opening of the valve while in storage. With version 4 ECU’s it’s possible to program the turbine to dump the gas into the engine after each start to reduce the fire risk in the event of a crash.

Keep loose items away from the Turbine inlet during operation-The suction produced is incredibly high.

Do not touch the tail cone of the turbine after a run even if the cooling process has finished.

Do not look into the turbines exhaust during start up
