Irvine 39ABC

We have an Irvine 39 in a X-cell 30 to evaluate, it's fitted with a
Zimmermann Sceadu type muffler, with the pressure nipple for a righthand machine.

The motor started very easily and came up into the hover after a little needle setting.

We are using 30% Coolpower, as I run this through all my models that are fitted with a muffler (5% through anything with a pipe).
It quit soon after and wouldn't re start, this was down to the plug. The element wasn't blown so I guess the motor wasn't that clean inside and something hit the plug.

A new plug (Enya4) had things purring and we put half a gallon through it over the two days of Charmouth.

So far it's running very sweet.

OS 70SZ

We put a 70 in our Fury Sport 60 machine a month ago, "World Hovering Champion" Gavin, put 4 gallons through it during a week off and Jamie Cole tested it's power at Charmouth putting the Fury through some basic 3-D.

On the 9.0:1 std Sport Fury ratio it works very well on 15% Coolpower, a Zimmermann 60 muffler and Enya 4 plug. For hard 3-D it sounds like 9.3:1 from the Expert series would suit it better, but for F3c 9.0:1 would be fine. The needles haven't been touched and it's a very sweet running motor.
